Preparing Your Quilt

What to do now that your quilt is ready for longarming...

Make sure it is pressed and all loose threads are cut from front and back of quilt. Measure quilt (we will measure quilt once it arrives as well).
Backing & Batting MUST BE larger than your top quilt! We prefer at least 4” longer on each side for a total of 8 inches wider and longer for the whole quilt. Example: quilt top is 50” x 60” backing needs to be 58” x 68”. An additional charge may apply if we have to piece our fabric to make it long enough to fit the longarm. If backing seam need to be pieced, seams should be horizontal for best results. It is also recommend to use 1/2 inch seam allowance.
Make sure to mark your quilt top and/or backing with a safety pin.
Please make sure to fold your top quilt, batting (if providing), and backing SEPERATLEY when packing or dropping off. It makes it easier to load the longarm and get to your quilt faster because these are loaded separately on the longarm.
We are not responsible for any tucks or creases in your quilt. Please check to make sure quilt top is square to help ensure this process.

We carry Winline Comfort Blend 80/20 Cotton/Polyester ($12.50/per yard) & Bamboo 100% ($15.00/ per yard).
You may also provide your own batting. Please note though, that if the batting you bring is poor quality, you will be charged for our Winline Comfort Blend 80/20 to fit your quilt top.

We can piece your backing fabric ~ $10 per seam (we do not pattern match)
Piece binding fabric ~ flat rate $5
Binding services are priced from linear inch. For example quilt top that is 60 x72. (60+60+72+72) x 0.15 = 39.60

Fill out Book Longarm Quilting Form! If you are sending more than one quilt, please fill out separate forms for each one. Also bag and label quilts separately, so nothing gets mixed up.

For edge-to-edge quilting, turn-around time is approximately 2-4 weeks. Time may vary depending on how many quilts we currently have taken in.
Edge-to-Edge Quilts are priced by square inch ranging from $0.02 - $0.05; along with any other optional add-ons.
To get a rough estimate of your quilt: Length x Width x $0.02. For example 65 x 85 x $0.02 = $110.50. Then add any additional add-ons like: batting, binding, shipping etc.

We charge a minimum fee of $50. That means if your project is less than $50, it will still be $50 to quilt it.
A $50 down payment is required per quilt, before we start.

We will send you info for shipping your quilt & backing, AFTER form is filled out and $50.00 deposit is received or noted that it will be in cash or check.
Please make sure to put your quilt in a waterproof bag and in a box, so to keep it safe from the weather.
Please note, customer is responsible for shipping cost to and from Autumn Blush Boutique.
We will contact you when we receive your quilt.
When quilt is completed, we will call and email you the final price (including shipping).
Once you have paid in full, we will then ship your finished quilt back to you!

Are you local to the Idaho Falls, Idaho area? If so, you can choose to drop-off your quilt instead of mail-in.

As this is a home business, we ask that you schedule a time with us to drop-off your quilt.
At drop-off we will go over quilt pattern, thread color, and any other questions or concerns you have.
$50 Deposit is required to be paid at drop-off.
When quilt is completed, we will call and email you the final price, and schedule a time for local pickup.
Quilt(s) must be paid at the time of pickup.
